The 2001 winter promotions were outstanding!

The Students that went up for Promotions did an outstanding Job as did their instructors. Some of the highlights of the day started off with the Honorary Promotion of a outstanding Man That lead our new school Building project, Thomas Muck. Mr. Muck was promoted to the rank of Honorary Shodan by Sensei Kelly Keys of the Ryukyu Christian Martial Arts Federation and given a certificate and Black Belt. Also Soke Genereux was present and Mr. Muck was given an Honorary Shodan certificate from the Ryu-Kyu Karate-Do Association. This Honor is not given lightly and is not given to a person that has no Honor in his Heart. Thomas Muck was a veteran of the Vietnam War and also operation Desert storm war. He is now retired from service. Tom's services to his Country and to the students and Instructors of this Dojo are much appreciated.

There was also a honor given to Toms Two sons TJ and Daniel, TJ and Daniel spent their whole Summer helping build our Dojo, while the others their age were playing on their summer vacations these two young men were swinging hammers! They were honored and given a signed Book by all the Black belts of Shoshin Nagamine.

Next it was a great pleasure to have been able to promote Jeff Taylor to the Rank of Shodan 1st Degree Black Belt. Jeff Taylor has lead the children's class for the last year or so and his work with the Children has been outstanding, I have never seen an instructor take such pride in teaching our young children. He has made a great impact on all students! And the Black belt Staff welcomes him with great pride!
